Welcome to the Greater Ridgewood Youth Council’s SONYC After-School Program at I.S. 25 and World Journalism Preparatory. We service children from 6th to 8th grade. As of this year 2021 our in person program operates Monday through Friday from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, following the school year calendar.

Our goal is to support social,emotional, and academic development,promote physical health, build confidence in the children and provide a safe and supportive environment and youth to grow. The students will have an opportunity to join a variety of activities including Creative Arts, Recreation which includes a variety of team sports, Healthy Living, Leadership Development/Community Service Projects, Literacy and STEM.
