The purpose of the Adult Literacy Program is to give adults exposure to the correct usage of the English language. We utilize a curriculum known as Side by Side. This program utilizes situations in everyday life in order to communicate with one another. The program is designed to help the adults learn to read for themselves as well as their children. It is also designed to help attain work and be able to understand his/her surroundings at any given moment.
