The SONYC After-School Program is a FREE educational program being offered for the first full year at St. Adalbert School in Elmhurst, NY. The mission of our after-school program is to create a safe and fun environment for school-aged children in 6th through 8th grade while allowing them to pursue individual interests as they participate in hands on activities such as robotics and forensics. In addition, we provide extracurricular activities that foster leadership opportunities, social enrichment, creative arts, dance and fitness.
The program is led by SONYC Director, Ms. Cynthia Diaz, who is also a teacher in the school.
