The COMPASS (previously known as O.S.T.) After-School Program has been actively serving students of P.S. 81 since January 2008. Every year, there are approximately 100 children participating in our program.  We offer a variety of educational, artistic, and recreational activities, helping children thrive each day in a learning environment that supports Department of Education performance.

The P.S. 81 After-School Program provides children in grades K-5 with an opportunity to enjoy a wide range of activities. The program takes place Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., a critical time to engage school-aged children in structured activities. Our trained and caring staff create a safe, supportive environment for the children that attend our program. Our program complements what children are learning in school and strengthens their sense of belonging in the communities in which they live.
