The 21st Century Community Learning Center After School Program serves free of charge the students of P.S. 239 in Kindergarten through the 5th Grade. We provide the students with a safe fun environment to continue to learn and grow. The program runs from 2:10 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. Monday through Friday during the school calendar year. The program does not operate when school is closed for holidays.
Some of the activities that we offer include Homework help, Arts and Crafts, STEM, Spanish and Leadership. We also have many special events throughout the year including our holiday and end of the year shows.
During this time, we continue to offer programming to the PS 239 students in Kindergarten through the 5th remotely on google meets Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 6 PM on the days that school is in session.
Our remote activities include:

Games and activities like a scavenger hunt or freeze dance

Special Theme Weeks like our recent “Winter Beach Party Week”
At this time, there is space still available for our remote offerings
