We have offered an After-School Program at P.S. 153 since 2007 and we offer a variety of programs including but not limited to Homework Help, Gym, Project Adventure, Sculpting, Literacy, Cheerleading, Arts and Crafts, K-Kids, STEM, and basketball. Due to COVID-19 we currently have a modified schedule that serves both in person and remote students.
The Greater Ridgewood Youth Council welcomes students of P.S. 153 in grades K to 5 into an After-School Program that provides opportunities to continue to learn and thrive after the school day ends. Besides educational enrichment, the program provides fun-filled activities under the expert guidance of our talented and committed Counselors and Specialists.
The GRYC program has functioned as an important partner for parents by providing support and interactive activities that allow their children to make the most of their after-school time and maximize their personal potential.
Our mission is to provide a safe and engaging learning environment that supports Department of Education performance. We focus on Homework Help and Tutoring, Arts and Crafts, Sports Activities and Creative Activities that challenge students and make learning a fun and exciting experience.
